You have to understand Philadelphia sports history to truly fathom what this means. Philadelphia, arguably one of the "sportingest" cities in the U.S., hasn't had a whole lot of luck getting to and winning sports championships. But that changes this year!

The last time the Phillies won the World Series was 1980, and the last time they made it to the World Series was 1993. It's their time.
