Lola Shuffle - The "Still on Minnesota Time" Edition
OK, so it's not Friday in Miami, but it's still Friday in Minnesota...sorry!
Let's see what Lola has in her now that we're home.
- "Let it Be" - The Beatles
- "Passionate Kisses" - Mary Chapin-Carpenter (fabulous lyrics)
- "Have a Nice Day" - Bon Jovi
- "Gin and Juice" - Snoop Dogg
- "Basket Case" - Green Day
- "Mexico" - James Taylor
- "Stompin' at the Savoy" - Benny Goodman and His Orchestra
- "Lady" - Little River Band
- "Lay Lady Lay" - Bob Dylan (oh sure *now* we get Bob Dylan!)
- "Un Poquito de Tu Amor" - Desi Arnaz
Well, it was varied...

I love Mary Chapin Carpenter. She was at the American Library Association conference last year and was absolutely wonderful in performance.
I talked to Mary-Chapin Carpenter once on the phone (I worked at the power company and she was calling about her bill) and she was so, so, so, so nice! Really down to earth and delightful. I love her music.
I plain love this whole shuffle.
I like Mary Chapin Carpenter a lot too, but *this* song in particualr is my favorite - the lyrics are awesome.
